Chocolate / Vanilla Cake Recipe ! (vegan)

This recipe is so easy, yet super delicious.
It only takes 10 inutes preparation ūüôā¬†
(I use rvs measuring cups and spoons. Which makes it super easy.)

You can make a 100% chocolate cake or my personal favorite a 50/50 mix.


Ingredi√ęnts for the 100% chocolate cake:¬†
140 grams of flour
60 grams of cacao powder
2.5 teaspoons of baking powder
0.25 teaspoon of salt
200 grams of sugar
80 ml of sunflower oil
240 ml of soy milk 
1 bag of vanilla sugar

Now add them all together and mix them real well with a hand held mixer.
Pour them in a springform. 
I use a sheet of parchment paper at the bottom of the springfold, just clamp it and cut the left over pieces with scissors.

Baking instructions:
Bake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celcius.
When finished, let it cool outside the oven at room temperature.
When completely cooled, make the glaze. 

Glaze recipe:
How to make the chocolate glaze:
Warm 80ml of soymilk (don’t let it cook). When hot, take it of the stove and melt 125 dark chocolate chips.
Stir untill all chocolate is melted and pour over the cake. Let it cool in the fridge until the chocolate is hard.


The 50/50 vanilla/chocolate cake is very similar.
Take to mixing bowls, that you can use the handheld mixer with.

Ingredi√ęnts for the 50/50 mix:

Bowl one:
100 grams of flour
1.25 teaspoons of baking powder
Add half of a 0.25 teaspoon of salt
100 grams of sugar
40 ml of sunflower oil
125 ml of soymilk 
1.5 bags of vanilla sugar (and if you have a few drops of vanilla aroma)

Bowl two:
70 grams of flour
30 grams of cacao powder
1.25 teaspoons of baking powder
Add half of a 0.25 teaspoon of salt
100 grams of sugar
40 ml of sunflower oil
125 ml of soymilk 
0.5 bag of vanilla sugar

Mix bowl one first, use a handheld mixer. 
I use a sheet of parchment paper at the bottom of the springfold, just clamp it and cut the left over pieces with scissors.
Tilt your springform by putting something under one of the sides and pour the mix.
Mix bowl two (the chocolate one).
Level the springfold and pour this mix on the other side. You can mix the two a bit with a knife, be creative ūüôā
